J&M Brown continued their electrical construction work for Amazon by being the EC on their latest fitout in the Seaport (Parcel L4).  Getting the project done on time was paramount and Amazon just witnessed one of the most fast-paced schedules in all of Boston; 16 floors in 9 months.  The project was built with incredible efficiency and it all starting with 3D BIM coordination where all open ceiling wiring had to be in hard conduit.   Along with the GC and other trades, JMB worked methodically with multiple crews to get all systems roughed-in, inspected, installed and commissioned.  Per Amazon standards, a networked Lutron lighting controls system was placed into their office space adhering to the latest energy codes.  Utilizing our pre-fabrication facility the team designed and executed concepts for the private offices, open areas, cafes, corridors, conference rooms, huddle rooms, IDF rooms, electric closets and the full-floor kitchen.  J&M Brown’s low-voltage division, Spectrum Integrated Technologies, performed the tele/data scope of the project.

  • Seamless two-phase turnover
